A woman was removed from a cruise ship last week and banned for life by the cruise company, after she was seen climbing onto her room’s balcony railing to pose for a photo over the ocean.The incident occurred aboard the Royal Caribbean ship Allure of the Seas, as it was approaching the port at Labadee, Haiti.The unnamed woman was spotted by another passenger, Peter Blosic, who alerted the crew.He says, “While on my balcony, I saw the woman climb on her railing. It happened so quickly. Not knowing what her intentions were, I alerted the crew. If I said nothing, and she was going to jump, that would be horrible.”Blosic posted a picture of the woman wearing a blue bathing suit with her hands over her head on social media. The ship’s crew tracked down the woman and removed her when the ship docked in Falmouth, Jamaica, according to Blosic.A Royal Caribbean spokesperson released a statement which reads:“Earlier this week on the Allure of the Seas a guest was observed recklessly and dangerously posing for a photo by standing on her stateroom balcony railing with the help of her companion. Security was notified and the guests were later debarked in Falmouth, Jamaica as a result of their actions and are now banned for life from sailing with Royal Caribbean.”On its website, the cruise line explains that “sitting, standing, laying or climbing on, over or across any exterior or interior railings or other protective barriers” is not allowed, for guests’ own safety.

The forklift driver involved in a deadly crash in Broward County should not have been behind the wheel or even in the country.Ulises Mondragon of West Palm Beach was driving a forklift over the weekend when he collided with a Mercedes-Benz near Fort Lauderdale Beach, killing the driver.Police say the 30-year-old admitted he did not have a driver’s license and was not authorized to drive a forklift.They also said Mondragon is in the country illegally from El Salvador, and ICE has been notified.Mondragon is jailed on multiple charges, including leaving the scene of a fatal crash.

Orange County Sheriff’s responded to a scene at a club in a shopping plaza north of Orlando after a shooting occurred that left two men dead.According to reports, over 250 people fled the scene after the shots were fired.Security was at the event but appeared to be outside when the shooting broke out.“We are told some security guards were outside at the time of the shooting, but investigators say they don’t believe they screened or searched any of the party-goers before entering,” Jamie Hoffman of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.Officials say they are still looking for a suspect.

Palm Beach police arrested a man who was armed with a machete, pickax, knives, and $22,000 in cash near the Flagler Memorial Bridge on Friday.According to authorities, the man was identified as Masoud Yareioeill Zoleh, an Iranian national.Yareilzoleh, had no known address, and investigators found his car at the Palm Beach International Airport.It is not clear why he was armed, or why his car was at the airport.Police are still investigating.
