FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John Flyers continued their perfect start to the NPHL season on Saturday night.The Flyers hosted the Falher Pirates at the North Peace Arena, and got off to a great start courtesy of a goal by Rick Cleaver. Ryan Carter and Cody Hildebrand both tallied assists on that goal.The Flyers continued their dominance into the second period, as Rick Cleaver, Ryan Carter, Robbie Sidhu, Brady Busche, and Brennan Giroux each scored to put the Flyers up 6-4. Busche, Carter, Hildebrand, Sidhu, Josh Bruha, Daylen Pearson, Dan Pappin, and Shawn Halliday all added assists on those five goals.- Advertisement -Giroux and Devan Greyeyes added to the Flyers’ tally in the third period, helped by Marcus Juister and Brady Busche respectively. Though the Pirates managed to score once again, the Flyers held on for an 8-5 win.The Flyers are back in action on Thursday night when they head to Grande Prairie for a game against the Athletics.
