NCUA outlines CSA, CBSA application requirements

These changes will allow a credit union applying for NCUA approval of a community charter, expansion, or conversion to designate a Combined Statistical Area (CSA) or an individual, contiguous portion of a CSA as a well-defined local community (WDLC) if the area has a population of 2.5 million or less.Beginning Oct. 14, 2020, prospective and existing federal credit unions seeking a community charter may use a CSA or portions of a CSA (within certain limitations, as defined in the rule) as a basis for defining their proposed service area without documenting how a CSA’s residents interact or share common interests.The rule also clarifies that an applicant credit union must provide the NCUA with the business rationale used to define a CSA or Core-Based Statistical Area (CBSA) if the defined area does not include an area’s largest county or named city. continue reading »last_img read more

#Donkomi: Algerians Yacine Brahimi and Mehdi Abeid join new clubs

first_imgAlgerian forward Yacine Brahimi has joined the Qatari club Al Rayyan while Mehdi Abeid signed for Nantes in France, with both having three-year deals.The pair were free agents, Brahimi’s contract with Portugual’s Porto ended as did Abeid’s at French club Dijon.Abeid, who is 26, played in all three of the Fennecs group games in Egypt but did not feature in the knockout phase.Brahimi, 29, made two appearances for Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Egypt, including one as a substitute as they beat Senegal 1-0 in the final.He took to social media to pay tribute to Porto, where he played 148 games scoring 39 goals, and the club’s fans“To my Portista family, you will stay forever in my heart,” he posted on social media.“In Porto, I spent five unforgettable years of my life with my family.
